3:1 Service Delivery Model

school_programs.jpg

Our 3:1 Service Delivery Model provides students with three weeks of direct therapy services and one week of collaborative or indirect services each month. Research shows this model provides consistent support while increasing collaboration with teachers, families, and the therapy team.

Service Schedule:

  • Direct Service Weeks: Students receive all therapy services outlined in their IEP.

  • Indirect Service Week: Time is dedicated to classroom observation, staff collaboration and training, small group therapy, make-up sessions, assessments, and co-treatments with other disciplines.

Benefits:

  • More time in the classroom for collaborative lessons

  • Staff training to support skill carryover

  • Scheduled vendor appointments (e.g., AAC, orthotics)

  • Enhanced home-school communication and parent training

  • Opportunities for consults and co-treatments

  • Time for make-up or additional individual sessions

This model balances direct therapy with collaboration to support student growth across school and home environments.
