Kingsway’s Elementary Program supports learners from Preschool through Junior High (Grades PreK–8), serving students ages 3–13. The program includes Preschool, Younger Elementary, Older Elementary, and Junior High classrooms. Each level provides developmentally appropriate, engaging, and individualized learning environments that build the foundation for communication, independence, social-emotional growth, and academic readiness.

Our Preschool program provides a nurturing, play-based learning environment for students who present with learning, communication, sensory, motor, and/or medical challenges. Through hands-on exploration and individualized instruction, students build early communication, social, and motor skills. A collaborative team develops educational and therapeutic goals tailored to each child’s needs.

The Younger Elementary program offers a dynamic and integrative educational experience. Instruction emphasizes functional communication, self-help skills, and social development, providing individualized support to build essential foundational skills.

The Older Elementary program supports students as they strengthen established communication modalities and build greater independence. The focus includes functional communication, self-advocacy, daily living skills, community participation, socialization, and positive behavior.

Serving as a bridge between the Elementary and Secondary Programs, the Junior High program prepares students for increased independence and future vocational experiences. Students engage in functional skill-building through school-based tasks such as Spirit Wear distribution, bi-monthly pretzel sales, and classroom supply delivery. Weekly community walking trips promote skill generalization and real-world readiness.
