Students at Kingsway benefit from a well-rounded program that includes opportunities
to participate in social events, community-based instruction, weekly music classes, field
trips, assemblies and computer instruction. Our adaptive physical education program
allows students to participate in both school- and community-based activities such as
basketball, bowling, swimming and the Special Olympics.
Social opportunities at Kingsway come in many forms—school dances, picnics and
proms, to name just a few. Socializing time at lunch, recess, on the playground or in the
classroom allows close friendships to be formed, as well as meaningful memories.
Kingsway is a vibrant part of its surrounding communities. From shopping excursions to
local stores to conducting clean-up projects in area parks, Kingsway students are a
visible and integral part of the community.
Community members extend themselves to Kingsway in the form of generous
corporate support and various programs brought to the school. The relationships
formed with area businesses and community organizations allow both Kingsway and the
community to benefit from this very special support.
